Martin Smith found his passion for landscaping while making gravel on a TexArkana chain gang. After supplementing his education with ditch-digging and brush-burning, he made his way into a world that hungered for his skills. Singlehandedly, he transformed Chestnut Hill from a dusty Virginia coal-mining town into a tony Philadelphia neighborhood. Never content to rest on his laurels, he is currently training chipmunks to bark like dogs in order to frighten the deer that have taken over Fairmount Park. |
